Summary
The presentation will provide an overview of ingredients in paint, how these ingredients can affect paint quality, and what to consider when specifying paint for a project. It will include discussions on how to compare paints across different manufacturers and tips to avoiding problems with a project down the road. Mr. Brown will discuss passive and aggressive environments and the climatic effects on buildings from coastal to inland environments.

About Our Presenter
Stuart Brown was born England and spent many years abroad in Panama and Costa Rica. Since 1977 he has lived in North Carolina with his wife and sons. Stuart has been in the paint Industry for over 30 years. He has worked in positions from in-store manager, store credit assistant, outside sales representative to architectural representative. He is the Continuing Education Chair for Charlotte CSI Chapter. He is also member of the Charlotte PDCA Group and a LEED Green Associate Accredited Professional. He is fluent in Spanish and is involved in the Hispanic Contractors Association of Charlotte (HCAC).
